Three Digital Marketing Case Studies

CASE STUDY 1: WEBSITE – Peter Meire

Overview
Peter Meier, Inc. (PMI) is a distributor of imported and domestic products for the kitchen & bath, restaurant and construction industry. Their website was severely outdated and not bringing additional revenue to the company. PMI engaged with us to create an e-commerce website that they could manage on a daily basis with automated inventory and accurate records.

Goal
Create an SEO optimized e-commerce website to showcase and sell PMI’s products.

Action Plan
We consulted with the owner and marketing manager on what type of functionality the site needed. We helped the marketing manager understand the process of optimizing products and pages for SEO. We developed a plan for adding products, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and site speed performance.

Outcome
The result of our efforts, working as a team with the client, is a modern WordPress site that ranks well and is now generating positive returns for the company. Early sales in 2020 surpassed 2019…even during the pandemic. Year-over-year traffic has increased 184% and we are continuing to see improvement.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Highly recommend hiring or at least making an appointment with Redding Communications. Don is very creative and will help guide you to create the perfect website, like the one he did for my company. Our sales have already surpassed last year’s, even in a pandemic. They also did our photography and I can’t say enough about how good that turned out. I would, without a doubt, suggest considering them for your marketing needs.”

CASE STUDY 2: PPC CAMPAIGN – Casual Furniture World

Reduced Cost Per Click from (CPC) $1.53 to $1.06

( CPC is still coming down )

Overview
Casual Furniture World is a retailer of outdoor furniture, grills, fire pits and other outdoor living accessories. They have 3 locations across North Carolina and South Carolina. Their previous agency was running their PPC campaign and getting undesirable results. The agency was tracking the wrong conversions, using keywords that were not appropriate for the business and not taking advantage of negative keywords. The result was a low conversion rate with high CPC and a false sense of success.

Additionally, they had an e-commerce site and WordPress site that were not integrated and were not optimized.

Goal
Our goal was to optimize the PPC campaign and increase the click through/conversion rate for increased sales.

Action Plan
First, we integrated the WordPress and e-commerce sites. They needed to have a consistent brand theme and to be linked together. At the same time we began optimizing the PPC campaign with more accurate conversion tracking, more finely honed ad copy, which included researching keywords and defining the target audience.

Outcome
After a few months of testing and modifying the PPC campaign, sales from online inquiries out paced drive-by and walk-in traffic for the first time ever! And the leads coming into the store are more qualified than they have been in the past.

We took over the campaign in February, 2021.

As of June 2021 we,
• Reduced Cost Per Click from (CPC) $1.53 to $1.06
• Reduced Cost Per Thousand (CPM) from $65.14 to $33.80
• Increased clicks by 268%
• Increased impressions by 355%
• Increased conversions by 289%

The campaign is still seeing month-over-month improvement.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Don and his team at Redding Communications have been great to work with. They have taken the time to understand our needs and have helped both strategically and tactically to deliver results. Specifically, Don and his team have been engaged to help with SEO, PPC, and updates to our website, which have all been great. However, the more pleasant surprise has been in how qualified our new leads have been. Our customers used to come to our store to find out about what we had available/who we are. They now come in already knowing that and they are usually asking about particular products. That is a huge hurdle to overcome in terms of acquiring a new audience that is ready to buy. The Redding team was instrumental in turning this around for us.”

CASE STUDY 3: SEO Strategy & Optimization – ACT FORKLIFT

Increased leads by an amazing 1583%.

Overview
Atlantic Coast ToyotaLift is a forklift dealer, service and repair company for Toyota Forklifts and other reputable equipment brands. They have four locations across North Carolina and Virginia. Their previous website was outdated, not mobile friendly, and had little if any effort put into ranking the site on google for key terms. As a result, they had no leads coming from their website.

Goal
Increase organic traffic/leads to the site by updating the website design and executing planned strategy for on-page and off-page SEO, local SEO strategy, content development, and technical SEO.

Action Plan
Create monthly content calendars, Google My Business post, Youtube post, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical audits, content optimization, and local SEO strategy.

Outcome
Year-over-year we have increased traffic by 174%. We increased organic (Google) search traffic by 226%. But most importantly, we have increased leads by an amazing 1583%.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“Redding Communications has been working with us on our SEO for a few years and has helped us increase our site’s traffic. We also recently completed a web development project with Redding Communications to update our website. The new website turned out very well and is optimized to benefit our existing customers and potential customers with content marketing that is informative and helpful. Often during meetings with Don, a few really good ideas are formed that help shape our future SEO efforts. I recommend Redding Communications for out-of-the-box thinking and knowledge of digital and traditional marketing.”
